This is a play on words, and it means two things. First, these evenings are for the purpose of discovering more about U (you) and God’s purpose in your life. Second, the letter “u” is often an abbreviated form of “university.” We expect to keep learning more about God’s word and shaping of our lives.

Discover U has three parts:
- Part One – For anyone who wants to explore disciplines for Personal Growth. We will explore various spiritual practices that help us grow in our walk with Christ.
- Part Two – Building Biblical Foundations for those beginning in faith or those who need a renewed awareness of who we are with God. This four part series is listed in the schedule.
- Part Three – Ministry Growth modules will encourage us in prayer, being present for our neighbor,
expressing our spiritual gifts for others’ benefit, and more.
Why does it have 3 different parts?
Discover U is open to anyone in the church and aims to inspire and equip all who participate. It consists of three related, though separate themes, because we grow deeper through spiritual disciplines, because many of us need support strengthening our biblical foundations, and because we can know the satisfaction of serving together when we understand our ministries more clearly.
