Worship
Our worship has many facets. It’s both our sung theology as a church (how we understand God) and our expression of that relationship which includes giving praise, petitioning God, Adoring Him, and songs of ‘Assent,’ coming to Jesus. Music is such a powerful tool for scripture memorization, for repetition of truths that make them ‘stick.’ Looking for a playlist for your week of current worship songs we’re singing? Check out the Spotify playlist embedded here!
How Do I Get Connected?
We’re so privileged to have a church body of believers to do life and ministry alongside that are gifted and equipped for what God has called them towards. If music or technological ability is your forte, reach out to Pastor Jordan using the form below, and together you can find a place to serve.
Areas to serve in the worship ministry:
- Vocals (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass)
- Instruments (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys, Piano, Cello, Violin, Saxophone, Hurdy Gurdy, Jews Harp, Cowbell)
- Sound Tech (assisting teams with setup, mixing from the sound board, mixing audio for our livestream, assisting with weddings and funerals)
- Media Tech (All things computers and presentation… it can be as simple as pressing the space bar or as complicated as creating layouts and presentations to simultaneously live stream and display live in our services)
- Video Tech
Training Resources
A worship training resource we use is called Worship Artistry. It’s the largest video library of Christian praise and worship song tutorials arranged for lead electric guitar, acoustic, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals with three part harmony. New song lessons are added all the time. Fill out the contact form above to gain access.
Collaborate Worship is our audio training hub for learning our Midas M32, and general best practices for mixing sound. If you’d like access to this for studying, contact Pastor Jordan through the contact form above.
ProPresenter 7 is our media presentation program. If you’d like to learn how to create and present media, this program is vital to learn. If you’d like to know how to program our multiple displays (Sanctuary, Stage, Foyer, Online Streaming), this is also the place to start.
